The Dutch Swedish group AKZO NOBEL (consolidated turnover of EUR 14 billion with 68,800 employees) announced that the American PQ CORPORATION (annual turnover USD 500 million), largest world producer of soluble silicates and products derived from silicates, acquired 100% from APS - AKZO-PQ SILICA, the joint venture it held equally until now.
