ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The Italian group ENEL signed an final agreement in view of the acquisition of the company EGI - ENERGIA GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL, active in the field of renewable energy in Latin America, for a total amount of USD 234 million. Based in Bermuda, EGI was until now controlled by a group of American investors including the insurer AIG and GE - GENERAL ELECTRIC.
