ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) coatings

ISF - INNOVATIVE SPECIALTY FILMS, 50/50 joint-venture company between MSC SPECIALTY FILMS INC and BEKAERT CORPORATION (Belgian group BEKAERT) has announced the acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, of the American firm NEOVAC, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of transparent conductive oxide coatings used in electroluminescent lamp and touch screen applications. BEKAERT had a turnover in 2000 of 2.7 bn euro with over 82 plants in the world and a workforce of 17,200.
