Strasbourg, 04/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The delegation of the Democratici di sinistra in the European Parliament awarded to Imen Derouche and Nourdine Ben Ticha, two Tunisian students that were tortured and imprisoned for having fought for the defence of human rights in their country, the Lounes Matoub student scholarship. This scholarship, created in memory of the Berber singer assassinated in Algeria in 1998, was handed to two students by the sister of Lounes Matoub.
