The Franco-Italian manufacturer of semiconductors STMICROELECTRONICS and the Japanese electronics giant HITACHI are going to create a joint venture named SUPERH INC that will develop and market microprocessors using the "RISC" technology of the SuperH kind, used in many high technology products. Located in San Jose (United States), it will employ one hundred persons.
