04/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The German and French Transport Ministers, Kurt Bodewig and Jean-Claude Gayssot, confirmed their opposition to the draft directive on the harmonisation of the ban on circulation for heavy goods vehicles at weekends, which is on Thursday's Transport Council agenda (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.9).
