30/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The World Bank has pointed out that it predicts a slowdown this year in the growth of China's GDP, that is forecast at 7.3% instead of the 8% last year. The official Vietnamese agency VNA points out, for its part, that Vietnam recorded economic growth of 7.2% during the first quarter of this year (compared to 5.6% during the same period in 2000).
