21/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has appointed Mr Heinz Karl Zourek, European official of Austrian nationality aged 50, to the post of Deputy Director-General of the DG Enterprise, following a proposal by Vice-President Neil Kinnock and in agreement with President Romano Prodi and Mr Erkki Liikanen, Commissioner for Enterprise and Information Society.
