EU condemns attacks by Albanian extremists

Brussels, 07/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On 6 March, the Swedish Presidency adopted the following declaration on behalf of the EU: "The EU strongly condemns the ethnic Albanian extremist attacks on 4 March near the village of Tanusevci, leading to the death of three FYROM soldiers. Violent acts such as these endanger the stability and security of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and its citizens, and should stop immediately.
