Frankfurt, 07/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Central Bank decided, following the dangers linked to foot and mouth disease, to postpone to a future date the meeting of its Governing Council that should take place on Thursday 15 March in Dublin. The decision to postpone the Dublin meeting was taken after talks with the Irish Central bank, said the ECB in a press release. The meeting of the Governing Council will thus take place in Frankfurt, at the seat of the Bank.
