ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The French group RHODIA (specialty chemicals) and Japan's ASAHI KASEI have announced an alliance in the manufacture of adipidic acid indirectly used in the manufacture of plastic automobile parts. ASAHI KASEI will, to that purpose, invest up to 9 bn yen to build new installations in a North Korean plant owned by RHODIA.
