ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) catering

The British hotel and leisure group BASS has announced the sale of its 988 pubs to the Japanese investment bank NOMURA for £625 million in cash. Through this transaction, NOMURA will become Britain's number one pub owner, BASS pubs being added to the some 5,000 establishments it already owns.
