The Italian oil firm ENI did not pull off its public bid for PETROZ, operation that ended on 19 January. America's PHILLIPS PETROLEUM, on the other hand which launched a rival and higher bid, now holds a 69.92% stake, against the 11.8% won by ENI. See, inter alia, EI of 17 January.
