ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

France's USINOR and the giant Japanese steel firm NIPPON STEEL have signed a partnership agreement relating to several sectors: flat carbon steel, stainless steel, tinplate. The two groups intend notably developing together steel rolls for the automobile sector and, to do so, want to set up a joint-venture.
