The Swiss NESTLE and the largest Japanese milk group SNOW BRAND MILK PRODUCTS have concretised an alliance project made public in September. The two group will create a 50-50 joint subsidiary NESTLE SNOW and provided with a capital of 20 million yen. Operational as of 1 February, it will market yoghurts, ferment milk based drinks, fresh drinks and desserts. It should have a turnover of 5 billion Yen in the first year and 20 billion after five years. See IE of 27 September.
