25/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - EU Council President Anna Lindh said in response to questions from members of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs that, according to the Swedish Presidency, "it would be wrong for the EU to take up a separate initiative on the Cyprus issue".
