Strasbourg, 22/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by the British Conservative Neil Parish on the situation and prospects for young farmers in the European Union, the European Parliament invites the Member States to foresee a minimum level of aid towards setting up. The investment aid should also be increased. It also hopes that the early retirement system be improved. In order to create a favourable climate to maintaining youths in rural areas, the Parliament calls for efforts to be made to improve training as well as access to information technologies and to fight against the disappearance of private and public services.
