- Venezuela: The Venezuelan Embassy in Brussels is organising on the 21 and 22 November in the Belgian capital two seminars dedicated to opportunities offered by the country to foreign investors, in the oil and petrochemicals sectors. The debates, in English, will more specifically address leading managers from European gas and oil companies that will have the possibility of meeting the Venezuelan leaders in the sector (PCVSA GAS, SHELL INTERNATIONAL GAS). European representatives will also express their opinion among whom will be Commissioner Loyola de Palacio responsible for Energy, Mr Dominique Ristori, Director of the "energy policy" division in DG Energy, Mr Francisco de Camara Gomes, Director of the DG external relations for Latin America, and Mr Jean-Francois Aguinaga, also from DG external relations at the European Commission. Wednesday 21 November will be dedicated to the oil sector (investment opportunities, EU-Venezuela cooperation) and Thursday 22 November to the chemical and petrochemical sectors (investment prospects, access to Latin American markets for foreign investments, EU-Latin America economic cooperation).
