BA - BRITISH AIRWAYS (profits during third quarter 2000 £200 million, up 400% compared to the same period in 1999) has announced the sale of GO, its low-cost airline subsidiary, within the context of radical restructuring of its European activities. Despite losses before tax of £19.9 million for its last financial year, GO is today valued at £300 million, employing 500, and serving 24 European destinations with an annual volume of 2.7 million passengers carried.
