Brussels, 19/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the initiation of Alfred Gusenbauer, SPO leader, around table on "Rights and Values in Europe in the 21st Century" is to beheld in Vienna on 21 October, in the framework of the round tables to prepare the Congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES) to be held in Berlin in May 2001. Taking part in the work, will be PES President Rudolf Scharping, the Speaker of the Bundestag, Wolfgang Thierse, the President of the Austrian Parliament, Heinz Fischer, the Spanish Vice-President of the PES, Trinidad Jimenez, the Czech Deputy Prime Minister Wladimir Spidla, the President of the Bosnian Social-Democratic Party, Zlato Lagumdzija and MEPs Enrique Baron (President of the Socialist Group), Pervenche Beres, Hannes Swoboda and Joke Swiebel.
