19/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Co-ordinator of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, Bodo Hombach, must inaugurate on 20 October in Zagreb a Regional Arms Control Verification and Implementation Assistance Centre (RACVIAC), in order to facilitate the participation of countries from the region in agreements concluded in terms of the control of armaments, to prepare for the implementation of future agreements of this kind (by contributing in particular to the work of the OSCE in the region) and to contribute to identifying common standards in this area, indicates a press release. This concerns the "exemplary quick start project", noted Mr Hombach.
