19/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - Wolfgans Senff, European Affairs Minister for the Land of Lower Saxony, announced, says Reuters, that he was planning to lodge a complaint with the European Commission, together with officials of Rhineland and North Westphalia, Sarreland and Rhineland Palatinate, against aid granted to hauliers by certain EU countries following the recent explosion in oil prices. The Länder authorities consider these measures create competition distortion.
