- Poland: The Polish Government hopes to collect some 18 billion Zlotys next year in its privatisation programme against 20.1 billion this year. It intends to privatise steel, the energy, petrochemicals as well as armaments sectors. It is also considering launching the privatisation of the national railway company PKP and that of the country's largest bank PKO BP, added Andrzej Chronowski, Polish Treasury Minister.
