ECSC Consultative Committee seminar on future of coal

Brussels, 16/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - Energy Commissioner Loyola de Palacio will take the floor on Tuesday, 17 October, at a seminar organised by the ECSC Consultative Committee in Brussels (Charlemagne building) on the future of coal in the EU energy policy, after expiry of the ECSC Treaty in 2002. Entitled "the role of coal in the 21st century", the seminar will allow different experts (representatives from the International Energy Agency, the European Parliament, the European Commission...
