ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

The Swiss group ASCOM (telecommunication and automation of services; FF 12.54 bn turnover in 1994 with 11,262 employees) has pulled off two operations. It has taken over the German IT-SECURE GMBH (security solutions for telecommunications), which will strengthen its "computer security" division, and has taken over the Brazilian firm SISTEN (energy systems).
