DEBIS AIRFINANCE (aviation easing subsidiary of the service branch of the German DAIMLER-BENZ; 100 turnover of USD 254 million) launched a friendly bid on its Irish competitor AERFI GROUP for a total of USD 750 million in cash. The anti-cartels authorities and the AERFI shareholders must still give their assent to this bid.
