The British oil group BP is considering the acquisition of 1,500 service stations in Germany to create a distribution network worth more than EUR 3.2 billion. According to the British newspaper, Sunday Telegraph, an "agreement could next announced soon" with RWE. The acquisition of the service stations belonging to RWE by BP would create a network of more than 2,600 service stations in Germany, the second largest after ARAL.
