Commission authorises joint take-over of Lufthansa Ground services by Menzies

Brussels, 31/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission, as we have previously indicated, authorised the British company Menzies Transport Services Limited (MTS) to take control of Lufthansa Ground Services (London) Limited (LGS). This operation will be carried out via the acquisition by MTS of 49% of the capital in LGS from the German company Globe Ground GmbH (GG GmbH), which presently holds 100% of the company.
