ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) brewing

The British brewer SCOTTISH AND NEWCASTLE will invest around GBP 93 million in a joint venture that takes over the management of the Portuguese brewer CENTRALCER - CEBNTRAL DE CERVEJAS. SCOTTISH AND NEWCASTLE will hold 49% of this joint venture whose other shareholders are the Portuguese holding PARFIL and the bank ESPRITO SANTO.
