By 7 October, Canada will have to cease authorising the production and storage generic medicines before the end of a patent

Brussels, 22/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - Canada has until 7 July to amend its legislation on pharmaceutical patenting so as to stop authorising the production and storage of generic medicines during the six months that preceded the expiry of a patent.
