Brussels, 18/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to send Germany a reasoned opinion for infringing the freedom of establishment within the internal market (Article 43 of the EC Treaty). It disputes certain provisions of the regional law on the media in Rheinland-Pfalz, which, it claims, play in favour of local operators when granting licences for the use of radio frequencies.
