18/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - On 31 July, through the written procedure, the Council of Ministers adopted the regulation establishing, in the context of the EU/Hungary Europe Agreement and its additional protocol whose negotiations were concluded on 14 April 2000, new concessions (in the form of Community tariff quotas) for certain agricultural products originating in Hungary. This regulation was adopted through a qualified majority vote: Italy voted against and Austria abstained.
