LAFARGE BRAAS ROOFING (turnover EUR 1.6 billion in 1999), the roofing branch of French LAFARGE, has acquired the majority of the shares of TONINDUSTRIE HEISTERHOLZ, the largest clay tiles producer in northern Germany with a turnover of over EUR 50 million in 1999.
