Ms Pack insists on cooperation between all parties for the smooth running of the Institutions

Brussels, 21/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament delegation for relations with South East Europe and a delegation of the parliamentary assembly for Bosnia Herzegovina held a second joint meeting, on 20 and 21 June in Sarajevo. After this meeting, the chairperson of the EP delegation, Christian Democrat Doris Pack, appealed to all political parties to fully take part in the work of the joint institutions and to cooperate constructively with them. The EP delegation calls on local and police authorities not to hamper the right of citizens to return home. It also stresses the importance of respecting the rule of law and the establishment of an independent judicial authority as well as an education system able to promote tolerance and reconciliation.
