Dutch insurance banker ING has announced it has brought to an end the negotiations with American insurance company AETNA for the takeover of the financial services and international activities of the latter because of the inability of the two parties to come to an agreement over the value of these activities which are reported to have brought in satisfactory premiums for the ING shareholders.
