BT Industries may acquire control of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works (material handling equipment)

Brussels, 20/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the Japanese forklift truck manufacturer Toyoda Automatic Loom Works (a Toyota subsidiary) to acquire exclusive control of the Swedish firm BT Industries AB, active in the warehouse equipment sector. The Commission concluded that the overlap of activities "does not give rise to competition concerns".
