The DEUTSCHE BANK is to sell some 19% of the Polish bank BIG BANK GDANSKI to the Portuguese bank BCP - BANCO COMERCIAL PORTUGUES and other investors. BCP, which with the insurer EUREKO controls 30% of BIG, will, for its part, buy a 5% stake in the Polish bank from DEUTCHE BANK for 79.6 million euro before acquiring an additional 5% once it has secured the authorisation from the Polish banking authorities.
