Euro Group to meet on Sunday evening - Monday's Ecofin Council will prepare adoption of Broad Guidelines for economic policies and Greek accession to the euro and discuss a number of technical issues - Meeting of EIB Board of Governors

Brussels, 02/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Ecofin Council to be held on Monday in Luxembourg, with Portuguese Economy and Finance Minister Joaquim Pina Moura in the Chair, will be preceded by two meetings. The first, on Sunday evening, will bring together the "Euro Group", namely the ministers of the eleven Member States in the present euro area.
