GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/lebanon

02/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Miguel A. Moratinos, has informed the Lebanese Government that the EU will sponsor a meeting of donors for the reconstruction of the southern part of the country. An EU Member State will organise the meeting. The EU itself will naturally contribute resources to the reconstruction programme.
