ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The French re-insurance group SCOR is to acquire PARTNERRE LIFE, the American subsidiary of the PARTNERRE LTD group, specialised in life assurance. The acquisition will bring in $147 million in gross premiums for the SCOR group as well as management of around 1.5 billion in assets.
