European Commission and sporting movement will discuss, on Monday, European political future of sport

Brussels, 14/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission will meet on Monday in Brussels, fifty-odd sporting federations to discuss the impact of the Bosman ruling, but especially the fight against doping and the preservation of the social function of sport. The athletes opinion will also be heard, in the presence of MEPs and four European Commissioners: Mrs. Viviane Reding, responsible for Education, Culture and Sport, Mr. David Byrne, responsible for Heath and Consumer Safety, Mr....
