ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) stock exchange

The Stock Exchanges of Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam are to announce their merger to give rise to the leading financial centre in continental Europe with capitalisation by way of EUR 2,400 billion. The London Stock Exchange is the leading European exchange with capitalisation of EUR 2,980.7 billion on 31 December 1999.
