Beijing announces export restrictions on dual-use goods targeting 14 European entities

24/07/2026 (Agence Europe) – China has announced that it has added 14 European Union entities to its export control list, barring them from access to Chinese civilian and military dual-use goods, AFP reported on Friday 24 July. This measure follows the adoption of the 21st package of European sanctions against Russia (see EUROPE 13915/1), under which the EU restricted exports of dual-use goods to 51 entities, including 14 Chinese ones, because of their alleged support for the Russian war effort. The companies targeted by Beijing include the Italian electric motor manufacturer Lafert Group and the German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall. (JV)
