18/05/26 (Agence Europe) – Monaco took over the rotating six-month Presidency of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers at the end of the ministerial session held in Chișinău on Friday 15 May under the Moldovan presidency. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counsellor and Monaco’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, took the opportunity to present the priorities of the future Presidency: the fight against violence against women, the protection of children and young people, support for the European Convention on Human Rights system, sport as a vector for development and well-being, and the fight against organised crime.
