Cyprus commits to competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of tourism ecosystem

The Cyprus Presidency, which began on Thursday 1 January (see EUROPE B13778A3), wants to “enhance the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of the EU tourism ecosystem”.

This will be based on the EU Transition Pathway for Tourism, the report on the Tourism Agenda 2030, published in December (see EUROPE B13775A29), and the upcoming EU Sustainable Tourism Strategy, expected from the European Commission in the first half of 2026 (see EUROPE B13666A19).
