Polish Presidency calls on Member States to address challenges of industrial decarbonisation and circular economy

On Friday 14 March, ahead of the Environment Council meeting on 27 March, the Polish Presidency of the EU Council shared a note for ministers in order to work on the environmental dimension of the ‘Clean Industrial Deal’.

And with good reason: the strategic challenges of this European Commission initiative (see EUROPE B13588A1) include ensuring affordable energy, the development of lead markets for green technologies and strengthening the EU’s economic independence.
