Effectiveness of regulation on ship recycling is being undermined by reflagging of ships, according to European Commission

19/02/25 (Agence Europe) – The effectiveness of the Community regulation on ship recycling has been significantly undermined by the fact that shipowners change flag before recycling, according to the results of an evaluation of the regulation published by the European Commission on Wednesday 19 February.
