Davide Da Pozzo appointed EU Force Commander for EUNAVFOR ATALANTA

19/02/25 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 February, Italian Rear Admiral Davide Da Pozzo will become the EU Force Commander for the European Union military operation to contribute to maritime security in the West Indian Ocean and in the Red Sea (EUNAVFOR ATALANTA), according to a legal act published in the Official Journal of the European Union on Wednesday 19 February.
