Transfer of migrants, Italian court once again rejects scheme between Italy and Albania

03/02/25 (Agence Europe) – Dozens of migrants left Albania for Italy on Saturday 1 February, after the appeals court in Rome, the day before, once again invalidated the draft agreement between Rome and Tirana to send migrants rescued in Italian waters to centres in Albania. An Italian boat carrying 43 migrants left the Albanian port of Shëngjin just after midday on Saturday, AFP reported.
