Mandate of current EU ambassador to Switzerland extended until 31 August 2025

09/09/24 (Agence Europe) – The EU’s ambassador-designate to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, Miroslav Lajčák, will not be taking up his post in Berne after all, the European External Action Service announced on 6 September, due to unforeseen personal circumstances.
